Considerations for custom banner signs

Banner signs are useful in both indoor and outdoor business advertising, and there are a number of considerations to be made when deciding what type of materials and construction to use.  Whether fastened directly to a wall, hung from rope or suction cups, attached to poles, or stretched across a tension frame, custom vinyl banner signs are an effective means of creating full color, temporary business signage.

Will your banner sign be used in bright or harsh lighting conditions or where there might be significant glare on the banner?  This applies in situations such as outdoor advertising, banners hanging behind storefront glass, stage backdrops, etc.  In such cases it can be helpful to use a banner material with a matte finish to reduce glare.

Or, will your banner be exposed to signigicant wind conditions in outdoor advertising applications?  Consider using vinyl banners with "wind slits" cut into the face of the banners or use a mesh banner material.  You don't want to end up chasing your ballfield sponsor banners into the outfield!

For use as indoor business signs, you can consider suspending banners from poles and ceiling hardware.

When you need to catch the attention of potential clients or event participants, custom flag banners are an effective product that are simple to set up.  Flag banners are available in a few primary shapes including the bow and teardrop styles shown below, and they can be custom printed as single or double-sided banner signs.
