With so many custom sign material options to choose from, various fabrication technologies, and endless color combinations, there are few restrictions when designing dimensional logo signs. On this particular office interior logo sign, we employed a mixture of vinyl lettering, dimensional acrylic lettering, digitally printed vinyl, and a brushed metal substrate to combine them all for an original, one-off look. We decided to go with a digital die-cut print for the backdrop of the logo to start with. The client has specific logo color requirements, so matching the colors on our printer was the best solution. Once printed, we laminated the print with a matte finish film, and the laminated print was then precision die cut to the logo shape.
Once the backdrop was cut, we chose to mount it to a brushed aluminum metal panel. The brushed aluminum complimented the look and feel the client was trying to achieve, and it went well with their color requirements and the matte finish on the vinyl components. With the logo background mounted onto the brushed aluminum panel, we applied gloss black and red dimensional acrylic letters where the text would be in their logo. The gloss raised lettering offers a focal point for the sign and compliments the digitally printed, matte laminated background. To finish off the look, we used a matte black cut vinyl to add the text below the sign. The result? A unique, professional look for the client's interior office dimensional logo sign using a variety of sheens, dimensions, and colors.
